Hello,
I've seen an abundance of complaints like these met with the reply that the rechargeable battery deteriorates over time. While that is all well and good, and completely factual and understandable, this battery life tanking really seems to be a product of the lastest software updates. My battery lasted for about a week easily and now suddenly can't last 2 days without the battery life jumping up and down, it'll be nigh dead at 3% and then I put it on the charger for a literal second and it's suddenly at 40%? That doesn't have anything to do with deterioration, all of these complaints that keep coming in are pointing to something not being quite right with the software, I really hope someone at fitbit starts taking this seriously rather than alloting it to the deterioration of the rechargeable battery. The battery suddenly deteriorating to only 20% of its use overnight just doesn't seem feasible. Thanks much.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @Chuyu. Welcome to the forums.
Thank you for taking the time to share all this feedback regarding the battery difficulty on your Luxe. Sorry to know about the inconvenience.
Please, confirm that you have followed the steps listed in this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
In the meantime, try to perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I've never used always-on display to save my battery life. My screen also has always been dimmed.
I never really enabled notifications because I really use the fitbit to monitor sleep, steps, use it for breathing exercises and to monitor exercises manually like treadmill or weightlifting. TLDR my settings have always been set-up in a way to favor function and save on battery life.
I just charged it to a 100% and in the 2 times I've checked my settings writing this, it's tanked down to 93%
I rebooted like the instruction said and my battery percentage tanked from 93% pre restart to 85% after the restart
It was working fine a couple of weeks ago until I updated to the latest software update.

I have been experiencing the very same thing. I also take very good care of my Fitbit and follow all recommendations. There seems to be an awful lot of people with the same complaint very recently....as in, since the last update. Google or Fitbit or whoever is running the show should be honest and fix it!

Haveing the same issue. No problems until a few weeks ago when Bluetooth stopped connecting so I had to unpair and re/pair my Fitbit (which also wiped that entries day data) and seemed to update it or change some things that I didn’t ask for!
