Luxe battery draining quickly

I've had my Luxe for just over 2 years and am constantly having issues. The screen will just go blank and will need attaching to the charger to 'wake up'. My Luxe used to go for weeks on a single charge, but over the last 3 months I'm having to charge every other day, as the battery will go from 90% to 13% in a matter of hours. It turns itself off intermittently, especially following an activity period and when I'm walking on my walking pad at home, keeps stopping and then restarting, losing my step progress. I loved this watch for the first 18 months but am now considering buying another smart watch as it's become so unreliable. I've reset/restarted and unpaired/repaired from my phone numerous times to try and fix any fault but it's getting steadily worse. Is this a common occurrence with this model? Any advice would be gratefully received!

Hi there, @Allyb25. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Luxe is still draining. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

It seems like your Luxe is going black due to the battery draining quickly.

As a first approach, please bear in mind that as all rechargeable batteries age, they deteriorate to some extent and an older device will need to be charged more often than a new one. The best way of minimizing this effect is to avoid deep discharges of the battery. To maximize the overall life of your Fitbit device's battery, ideally keep it between 20-80%.  Many people find that a daily battery boost works best ( e.g. giving it a 15 minutes charge while you are showering in the morning).
