I’ve had my luxe for just over 2 years and I’m not sure if that’s how long the battery is supposed to last but ever since just under a month ago, the battery has been seriously playing up. The screen often says the wrong battery (for example will say 94% when I’ve only just put it on the charge from completely dead) and even when I charge it for a long enough time that it should actually be on 100% it dies very quickly. Also, whenever I recharge my Fitbit from being out of charge, it always says the wrong time and it takes a sync to correct the time. I’ve tried restarting and syncing many times to try and fix the batter but to no avail. Wondering if anyone else has this problem too or if there’s a solution. It’s also not the first time I’ve had problems with the Luxe!

Hi @CricketGirl7 It sounds as ifnthe battery of your Luxe is dying. Allowing it to run fully flat is very bad for Lithium ion batteries, so I would recommend not letting that happen if at all possible. Though it sounds rather as if your battery may be too degraded to be very useful. Sadly Fitbit batteries are not replacable, so when the battery dies the Luxe dies too. Sorry.

Hi there,
After investigating a little but in the community, I've seen there are many posts about battery drain for the last 2 years, and in all of them the moderators always tell us the users to wait for a new firmware update to see if this is fixed. Why Fitbit developers doesn't test the new software before releasing it to the public?
This is happening to me and proceeding with official step for basic troubleshooting is been a waste of time.
The behaviour I see is that my Luxe stops responding to touch and I cannot see anything, then when I proceed to charge it and connect the USB cable, it brings screen to life and tells me it has 44% battery still remaining. So I disconnect it from charging, and after one minute I see nothing when touching the screen, so I connect it to charger and again same message about 45% battery left. Now I proceed to reset it, and when the Luxe is back it warns me that there is only 5% battery left.
Should I waiit for new firmware 194.61 to be received? (I'm currently running 58.200001.188.58 and cannot see the new update icon on the App)
My battery was lasting 5 days 2 some months ago, but for the last ones it only last 2 days max.

@Maev1971 this is honestly so relatable! I’ve tried to do lots of troubleshooting things and spent hours trying to find ways to fix the battery problem but it seems to be something unsolvable! I’m glad I’m not the only one having issues. Hopefully future Fitbit models will be more improved.
