Luxe battery is draining too quickly

My Luxe seems to be losing its battery storage capacity. I get an email and message on the product to say it is low but when I put it on charge I get random percentages. For example it was not working so presumably completely drained but when I put it on charge it was showing 51%, then just checked again and it has gone down to 32% in a matter of minutes. I am also having a problem where I am getting an error message re charging.

Anyone got any suggestions? I have cleaned contacts on charger and fitbit but this has made no difference.

Fitbit is less than 2 years old, and this will be my 4th? fitbit, not very sustainable.

Hi, @cuthbert1998, welcome, It occurs to me there might be an issue with your USB power socket rather than the device. Having said that your inclination to clean the connections on the device & the cable is a good move. You may find this How do I clean my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center is helpful.

I would add that I use rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl 70%) with a cotton bud and you should check that the two little pins are free & equal height (they are spring loaded)

My watch won’t turn on - Wear OS by Google Help provides advice on ensuring you are getting juice to your Lux.

If your Lux is still under Fitbit's warranty you should talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good idea to make notes of your problem, steps taken & results before contacting them so you can brief the agent accurately.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
