Green light draining battery

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Only had my new Fitbit Luxe for five days. Needed a recharge on the fourth day as flat but on reaching 100% the green light on the back would not go out and this drains the battery within one hour. Spent two hours on the chat line but both assistants were unable to fix and the last one said the warranty had expired! They are confusing the new one with the old one I unfortunately lost as that one worked perfectly. Am now being sent numerous badges for steps taken which is rubbing salt into the wound! They said they would email me shortly after referring to management and to wait until they did but so far next day nothing received. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi, @UnhappyUser1951, welcome to the community. If you leave your Lux lying on its side when not wearing it the green LED should stop flashing after a few seconds, it should continuously flash when against your skin. If this is not happening try restarting your Lux. From the clock face swipe down to & touch "settings">swipe up to and touch restart device & confirmation. Return to the clock face. Another way to turn off the green LED is to disable Heart rate under settings where you will see an on/off slider but to be frank, this should not be necessary.

Let us know how you get on, it is entirely possible you have a faulty device but at the very least try the restart.

Cheers

Thank you for the tips, however we tried both last night with their assistants to no avail and I do believe device is faulty. So annoying especially as they are under the impression it’s not covered by warranty even though brand new.
