I had turned off all notifications(in Fitbit settings) to my luxe in the hopes that would fix my black, non-responsive Luxe screen when I hit my step goal. I had no black, non-responsive screens yesterday- yay!
well, this morning I was swiping the screen and apparently I changed the DND mode- my luxe buzzed and then did the black unresponsive screen thing. Put it on the charger to resuscitate the luxe.
I left DND mode on. Hopefully I won’t accidentally change it again.
i had been told by Fitbit support that my Luxe was not fixable for the black unresponsive screen issue but it sure seems to me that a firmware tweak might easily fix it. Cannot be fixed is different than will not fix.

Hi there, @Js2222. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Luxe is still going blank sometimes. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
I really hope you don't face this issue again, however, if you do, my best advice is to contact our Support Team again. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly.
Thanks in advance.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Thank you for your response.
i had contacted support and was told it could not be fixed.
last night when it got the black screen, i put in on the charger so it would work again, then since the luxe was over 90% charged, put it on my wrist. It buzzed and got a black non-responsive screen; put it on the charger, and then back on my wrist and yup a buzz & black screen. I repeated this several more times and decided enough was enough. Took an older Fitbit I had in the house, charged it and am now using that one.
