Luxe charging not working properly

My luxe shows critical percent needs charging or it just turns off. Once plugged in it starts and says it is at 88 percent. Needs to be charged at least 2 times in 48 hours. What is going on. I have restarted.

In a situation like this the first question is always how old is your Luxe?  As I am sure you are aware, all rechargeable batteries have a limited life span, and even the most carefully used batteries run out of charge recycles eventually.  Very small batteries, such as in Fitbits, do have lower capacities than large ones.  A battery that has been regularly allowed to discharge completely before recharging, or which spent a long period in deep discharge, will deteriorate more quickly.

I would recommend in the first instance to try giving your Luxe a small amount of charge each day - say 10 - 20 minutes, perhaps when you are showering and getting ready for work.  Little and often charging is actually the best way of prolonging over all battery life.

If a short daily charge does not keep it going then I am afraid you will need to give it a longer boost, perhaps as much as daily as the device ages.  Perhaps in the evening when you are relaxing with a book or in front of the television.

Thank you for your email. I understand that about batteries, but my app
will tell me that it needs charging and is critical at 5 percent and when i
plug it in the display after restarting says 80 or 70 percent so the amount
of charge needed in always different.
