Luxe is resetting itself

I've about had it with my luxe. It's shutting down randomly multiple times per day. It's updated, it's charged, and I've tried half a dozen new watch faces.  I've restarted it and nothing keeps it on. The only way I get it back on is attaching the charger.. where it says 96% charged. What's the deal 😞

I’m having the exact same issue! It’ll be 100% charged and the. Suddenly shut off numerous times a day

Have you tried to set up your Luxe's as a new device? How do I set up my Fitbit device?

I’m having all those same problems. Cannot charge my Fitbit as it goes to 98% as soon as I connect it to the charger. When it reaches and you take it off the charger it will go black screen if you try any function. Pretty much useless.

I tried this today and my watch didn't turn off  at my work out today. I'm hoping this is a permanent fix, thank you

Well. That lasted 1 day 1 work out... womp womp 😞 i was excited after I reset up my luxe and got that 1 day in, but it's back to being about worthless. I loved my luxe.. the style the capabilities the battery life.. but to only get a year out of it.. I'm looking into other devices for a black Friday deal and leaving fitbit 😞

This isn't an expected behavior for the Luxe. I am sorry to read that it only worked for 1 day. 

In this case, contact support if you haven't already. Fill out the form. You will then be recommended some help articles. After that, you will be able to choose how to contact support.

I was always hopeful that I would be able to use my watch but that does not seem possible as it keeps on going black even fully charged. As soon as I place watch in charger it says watch is 98% charge. Not possible to charge a watch that quickly. What is the solution?

Hi there @PaulineTO! Thank you for your answer.

I suggest you restart your Charge 5: 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. 
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  3. Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.

You could give it a try changing the clock face too.
