Luxe often won't wake up

Sometimes I can't get the Luxe screen to turn on when I double tap it. It acts like the battery is dead. If I plug it into the charger, then unplug it and plug it in again, it shows me the battery percentage. Often there will be more than 50% battery left. I have done a hardware restart and have the latest firmware. Has worked fine for 3 years until a couple months ago. How do I get it to work properly, or should I just recycle it?

Hi there, @JH100a. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe often won't wake up. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image. 
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

So far doing all a sync, restart and changing the clock face seem to have worked. Will see if it continues to work over the next couple of weeks.
