Same as earlier posts from other users. Answers don’t work so please don’t close topic.
“Recently (Luxe) has stopped switching between the different screens so I can only see the clock face time and date. Can not see any steps or health information or put the water lock on when I swim. I have rebooted via the charging cable …All data is visible on app and sync function usually works. Battery drains faster than it used to”.

No. That works when the phone is in water lock mode but not in this case.
When I finally called Fitbit I was told this is not fixable, I would have to buy a new Fitbit.
Thus Fitbit Luxe is less than 2 years old. My conclusion was that the device goes along working ok (other than app changes made by Fitbit for better or worse) until the battery dies. This happens quite quickly and then neither the Fitbit or the app function properly and you have to get a new one or something else.
Fitbit offered me a 30% off coupon but active & fit is/was offering a 38% discount on new Fitbit devices.
I am using a new one only because I’m not convinced the other current options are better.
Overall I’m not happy with the google acquisition of Fitbit although the chaos has settled some.

Sounds like you got yourself into always-on clock face turned on. I forget the details on the Luxe navigation to get to Quick Settings to turn off always-on. Can't you just double-tab screen when it is displaying lock face and time to get back to normal display with swipe available, until times out and back to minimal display.
