Luxe steps count has gone haywire past 2 days

Have had my Luxe Fitbit for close to a year and it has mostly worked flawlessly. Last night it suddenly jumped from about 7.000 steps to over 536 million! It’s doing the same today and so far I’ve walked ⅓ of the way to the sun- 33 million steps. Interestingly, the miles covered is correct. Has anyone experienced this obvious malfunction and any ideas for a fix? Thanks.

If you have Mobile Track set up as a device, perhaps unintentionally, try removing it.

Thanks. If you mean Tracking under Privacy settings, that is always shut off.

Not what I mean.  On phone app:

Profile pic - see connected devices.  Where see Luxe listed as a connected device, if also see "Mobile Track" as a device.

Thanks, I found “authorized devices” under account settings, under the profile pic. The only device listed is my phone. I don’t see anything called “connected device” I’m going to call customer service tomorrow.

Obviously we're just not communicating.  Are you even using phone app?  If so, do you see where profile pic would be at top left of Today screen? tap that and get to screen labelled "Account".  That's very simple.  Then it lists your devices, presumably "Luxe".  I'm not asking you to be going into any settings.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear on a few things Johnny. Yes I am using the app for iPhone. I have looked at the account (after tapping profile pic) and Luxe is listed as the device. Not sure what I should be looking for there though.

My point was, besides Luxe, if it also lists "Mobile Track" as a device, remove it.  If it does not list 'Mobile Track", then nothing.  That's all.  Not necessarily the problem/solution - just one possibility to look at.

Thank you for your help Johnny. I ended up reinstalling the app yesterday and the # of steps is back to normal now. “It” must have detected me flying like Superman in my dreams the other night and counted it as steps.
