Was working fine until yesterday, when it simple stopped logging my elliptical workout (as elliptical) but still added steps to my daily total. Recognizes long walks (20 min +) just fine. Why the change and how to get it back? I never changed anything or customized it since new.

Hi there, @Sky27709. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe has stopped detecting your elliptical workouts. Thanks for letting me know that you haven't changed anything. I'll be glad to help you!

If your Luxe is still tracking your walks automatically, I'd recommend two things; first, please reset the settings of SmartTrack and lastly, restart your Luxe. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit device is 15 minutes long. However, you can change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the Exercise days tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top.
  3. Tap the activity (elliptical) you want to adjust.

If the issue persists, please note that there can be various reasons why your activities were not recorded/recognized correctly.

For example, the activity is not fully recognized by your movement patterns or you paused for more than 30 seconds during the first few minutes, so your Luxe might "think" the exercise was over.

Hope this helps.
