Luxe stops responding overnight

In the past week, my Luxe has bricked itself overnight on 2 occasions.

  1. Watch works ok all day.
  2. Top up battery right before bed (usually from high 80s)
  3. Watch still works when taken off charger.
  4. Sleep 8 hours
  5. Bricked Fitbit Luxe. tapping the screen does nothing, no green light on the back.

The first time, just attaching the watch to the charger fixed the problem. Today, I had to use the press the charger 3x solution to get the watch working again.

Anybody else with the same experience, any permanent fixes? half the reason for having this watch is sleep tracking...

Hello there, @nhyt. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Luxe. I understand where your worry comes from.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Thanks. Yes I have restarted my device and have used a different clock face
for a week now. The watch has just turned off by itself / bricked itself
again, so the method proposed did not solve my problem. Is there another
fix ?

I have now tried to reset my bricked Luxe by putting it on the charger and the charger says 3%. This is after charging for a few hours from 85%. How is it possible to go from 90+% to 3% overnight especially when most of the time the device was off (bricked)?
