Luxe touchscreen is not working properly

Am I the only one super frustrated trying to navigate the luxe? I tap twice to open it and then when I try to swipe, 90% of the time it just goes black. I really want to love it, but I can't stand not being able to actually use the features that I can't get it to open.

Hi there, @MaybeMary. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. I understand how you must be feeling. 

Please restart your Luxe as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

My luxe is brand new, so I never thought of restarting it. It has always performed that way. But I will try that and see if it changes anything.

I'm also having problems with my Luxe. It's not brand new, a little over a year old, but it's still in great condition.  I've already rebooted it a couple times, but it seems to be registering "phantom" taps or not registering swipes/taps.  Very frustrating!

 

Update: I have tried changing the clock face, but the device still does not respond to taps reliably, and when it does, it seems to register multiple taps or swipes.  Is there anything else I can try?  Hardware reset?
