Mileage tracking accuracy

I've been using the luxe since November and it's working great with the exception of mileage tracking.  While walking with others who are using a GPS phone or other Fitbit device, my Luxe is always under by 4/10's of a mile or more.  This is consistent as we walk several miles 5-6 days a week.  Ideas??

For any post about distance, it is essential to know whether the user was using GPS, onboard the fitbit or connected-GPS connected to phone's GPS, or not using any GPS.  Mileage is calculated completely differently depending on the answer to that choice.  Not directed particularly at you, but I wish I could tell that everybody before posting about distance problems.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
