I tried contacting via the help tab and got a call back from a Google rep.(?). After going over the issues with our fitbits there was really no solution, she said she could send me a 35% discount code. I asked for her to email it, she agreed but said I needed to give her the Google verification code that was just texted to me in order for her to send the email. The Google texts always say verbatim “do not share with anyone.” That didn’t seem to make sense to me, so I did not give it to her and in turn did not receive a code. Was this legitimate or a scam? She did have all of our fit but info so it seemed legitimate and hopefully it was…. Just curious at this point if that is typical for Fitbit Help?

Hello @jlnels93 and welcome to the Community. I haven't dealt with account verification from Support, but I have been given verification codes in other situations. Not sharing means not sharing with anyone else. It is for you to verify your identity with the sender.
