Luxe died after 18 months. Never stayed synched. Became increasingly difficult to synch and then stopped charging and died. I tried all the hacks. Probably one of the worst purchases I ever made. I would like to remove Google from my life. I think we all should.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been having with your Luxe. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!
To better assist you, may I know the steps you've tried? If your Luxe stopped charging, there are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated. Would you mind confirming whether you've tried all troubleshooting steps provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Make sure your Luxe is receiving good power source, please find below some tips to best charge Fitbit devices:
For best results, don’t leave your device plugged in on the charger longer than overnight.
Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). If you stopped using your Luxe for a long period of time, leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
I'd like to address the battery issue first and then the syncing issues. Let me know how it goes!
