Notifications are not coming through my Luxe

Hi, I just got my luxe syncing perfectly on my huawai phone and then had to buy a new phone!  The first week I had no issues and then suddenly i stopped getting texts/calls etc on my luxe again. I've tried all the trouble shooting tips but still not working.  Any ideas please?  Thank you

@SunsetRunner You may have either DND or sleep mode enable. When the do not disturb setting is on:

 

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The do not disturb icon illuminates in quick settings.

When sleep mode is on:

 

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake Luxe, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

 

You can't turn on the do not disturb setting and sleep mode at the same time. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device? 

 

If the above doesn't describe your issue, may I know if you receive any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working? If so, what does it say? Also, may I know the model of your new mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

 

It seems that your Luxe cannot connect properly to your new phone since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your watch and the old phone's Bluetooth which would explain the connectivity issues you're running into. With that said, try the steps below: 

 

  • Unpair your Luxe from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Set up notifications again.

Hi, thank you for the detailed explanation. My Fitbit does connect fine though as it is also updated steps etc constantly. I therefore don't think it is a Bluetooth issue?

I am having the same issue, no issue connecting, my DND and Sleep modes are off and I haven't received notifications on my device for a couple of weeks now, I'm considering taking it back, but I'm not sure if will be the same with a new luxe.
