Can't restart my Luxe

I discovered that my luxe, new December 2024, restarts by holding the button on the charging line down for 3+ seconds and waiting for the logo.

The 3 pushes advice does NOT work.

To better assist you, would you mind letting me know why you're looking forward to restarting your Luxe? Are you experiencing any of the following issues? 

  • Your device won't sync with the Fitbit app
  • Your device is unresponsive to taps, swipes, or button presses
  • Your device's display is blank or frozen
  • Your device doesn't register steps or other data
  • Your device doesn't show notifications or reminders

Have you tried restarting your Luxe directly from the settings? To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. Tap the Settings app > Restart Device > Restart.

Hello MarreFitbit,

  • My device won't sync with the Fitbit app
    I seem not to have the magic touch on my luxe. My swipe only rarely gets me to settings. When it does, restart blanks out.
    I've done all the things, but  Luxe won't synch. It gets maybe halfway and quits. I'm thinking there's a permission somewhere that isn't right, but I haven't found it.

@BenReynolds Thanks for getting back to me and for clarifying the issue. 

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

The short answers are yes and yes.
Long answer: new Luxe as of December 2024. New phone as of March 2025, Samsung Galaxy S25+ Android 15.
They were synched until the battery ran out last week. Since then, they pair but don't synch. I've been through the steps from 1 to the end many times. The two crucial permssions for the app are set properly. Bluetooth sees the Luxe.
If this were a computer, I'd read the error codes, but Google gives me nothing to work with.
