Admittedly, I'm starting to develop a chronic hatred towards this thing.
Last night I watched a movie (a rather tense thriller), whilst my Fitbit recorded deep sleep! When I do fall asleep in front of the TV, ironically it doesn't register any sleep.
What's most infuriating, however, is that it decides to do its own thing when I'm out running. Sometimes my 6-8 mile run is registered as 0.1 mile walk. What's even more annoying is that, whilst doing so, it has the audacity to vibrate and congratulate me for doing so well!
I really don't need any of this. What i would like my Fitbit to do is:
1. To be a watch and show me the time when I look at it - last time I checked the time, it told me to take a deep breath (meditation function, i presume) and I could not get to the main screen to see the time
2. I only want it to vibrate when there is an incoming call on my phone. I don't want it to vibrate when i'm making a call as i'm usually perfectly aware if I'm making a call.
3. I would like it to record my running, but only on the background, so that I can check later on my phone to see the duration, heart rate, calories etc.
4. I have enabled DND, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. Also, it means that it won't alert me of any incoming calls.
5. How can sleep data be approved? If this is not possible, i would rather not have it, as I could simply use my phone to log my runs.
Is it just me?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @LolaRun.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Luxe. Thank you for the information provided.
1. Please perform a restart to your Luxe by following these instructions.
2. You can set up your Tracker as a replacement device:
3. Your Luxe should track your runs automatically with SmartTrack. Please make sure your runs last longer than what is set on your Fitbit account. The instructions shared above should help to fix this issue.
4. Do you want to receive call notifications or want to stop them?
5. Do you see any message asking to approve your sleep data? If so, please attach a screen shot for further investigation. If you meant how to improve sleep data, please provide me with more information about the difficulties you experienced.
If you have any question, please let us know.

Good morning! Thank you for coming back to me.
I have performed the restart as you suggested.
What is the purpose of setting it as a replacement device, please? I don't seem to be able to find that option on page that opens when I click on my profile photo.
I would like to receive incoming call notifications (but not when i'm making a call as being notified of that is pointless and annoying).
I don't want to receive any other notifications and don't want my device to vibrate for any other reason, NEVER.
Basically, I would only want it to speak to me when it is spoken to. It keeps demanding attention and despite having switched off all reminders, it has still a lot to say.
I think the problem got worse when I started wearing long sleeve top whilst running. Maybe the screen is too sensitive? I can't even see the time as it is often in the middle of doing something random - e.g. breathing exercises, counting laps etc. It keeps vibrating and driving me up the wall!
Saying this, it did the same when I ran in short sleeves a couple of days ago.
As to sleep data, I'd like to improve its accuracy. It logs sleeping time when I'm clearly awake and going about my business. On the other hand, when i do fall asleep in front of TV, it doesn't recognise this as sleeping time.
I've not had any messages re improvement of sleep data, I'm afraid.
Hope you can help me to sort it out.
Thanks and best wishes
Annely

Thanks for your response, @LolaRun.
Setting up your Luxe as a replacement device is the same process you followed when you paired it to your Fitbit account for the first time.
Your Tracker will vibrate to notify you for different reasons in several situations. If you don't want to be notified when you reach your goals, you can set a goal that you can't reach.
It seems that you were provided some instructions to set notifications only for calls in this thread. Did you find any trouble while following them? Is there any other notification you are still receiving that you no longer want?
Regarding the issue with sleep, you can set your Luxe to track sleep in sensitive mode. For information about how this setting works, please visit this article and open the menu "What's the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting?".
If necessary, you can edit your sleep logs by going to this article, open the menu "How do I edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
