You cannot set how many hours of sleep you got.  Sleep time is detected automatically, and that is the only way.  If you mean setting the hours for Sleep Mode, that does not affect actual sleep detection, only the settings within that time range, such as 'Do Not Disturb'.

If you mean the 'Begin Sleep Now' button, that should not be used on trackers with heart rate detection.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@JohnnyRow , Nice to see you around. Thank you for the information shared.

@Spadilla A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

I just wanted to jump in an add some more information to the one given by our friend JohnnyRow .

Depending on your heartrate and movements, the Luxe will identify if you are sleeping or not. The Sleep mode in the tracker is to avoid that the Display is turned on or you receive any notification during your sleep, so that you won't wake up and can rest better.

More about this, can be found here: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

See you around.
