Good Morning, All!
My husband is retired and doesn't typically move that much. He just got a P/T, seasonal job and he's constantly running around. His company is VERY particular about punching in/out on time (withn a minute or two) and he's got quite a 'hike' to go from the time clocks to his job. I suggested getting a fitness tracker as the time is always right **and** he could see just how much he is walking as his shifts require constant movement.
A few days ago, QVC had a Fitbit which they featured - the Fitbit Luxe Fitness & Wellness Smart Wearable. SO - I bought him that one. A day or two later, HSN had a featured fitness tracker which did a lot of what the FitBit does but it cost quite a bit less ... it also looks a little more like a man's watch than the FitBit does ~ so we got that one as well. The FitBit Luxe arrived yesterday ~ the other wearable should arrive next week.
I am a FitBit user and started with a FitBit Charge HR on Christmas, 2015. That one died in November, 2017 and I replaced it with a FitBit Charge 2 and have been using that since 11/24/17. My Charge 2 still works but the screen is cracked and hubby is telling me to keep the new FitBit and retire my old one ~ he will take the other tracker when it arrives.
I wasn't planning to replace my tracker until it died ... and I was going to retun the Luxe for credit. But, considering that my Charge2 is now 4 years old (and I use it literally every day/night except when I occasionally forget to put it on before leaving the house) ... maybe I should consider replacing it? My Charge 2 has served me well.
The new Luxe is water-resistant, which I like and probably has features that my 4-year-old Charge 2 doesn't have ... my husband is telling me to retire my Charge 2 and keep the Luxe. I got the black/black version as I originally purchased it with him in mind ~ my Charge 2 was silver and I got a fun pack of a lot of different colored bands that I have used through the years ~ of course, I can do that with the Luxe as well. I was surprised not to find many threads about the Luxe ... does anyone have experience with this model?
I'm still on the fence about keeping it or not and was hoping to find some Luxe users who might tell me the pros and cons.

Just my personal thought: if you have a tracker that is working and you know the screen navigation well, I don't see reason to switch just because other is newer. As for new features, I'm not sure; you would have to check specs for Luxe, but many new features are on the Fitbit servers back-end and get applied to several models. My impression of the Luxe is that it is more about style than the latest features.
But then with the cracked screen, don't know how long your Charge 2 will last or if that affects visibility.
You might consider using both on same account, Charge 2 for everyday activity until it dies, and Luxe when you want something more dressy. That is not possible with newer models, but should work with the older Charge 2.
See Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

Thank you SO much for your comments.
It makes me a little nervous with a Community this big that I haven't gotten a lot of answers. I'm also a MFP user and there is a HUGE FitBit Community and nobody answered the same question there, either. Perhaps it is too new? Perhaps it has too many problems ~ I'm still on the fence if I even take it out of the box (since I bought through QVC/HSN ~ one of the two), I have until the end of January, 2021 to return .. so I'll continue to look for suggestions from users.

Keep in mind that most of the posts here are complaints from unhappy users about their problems. When folks like it, they usually don't bother to come here to say so. In that sense, few posts could mean fewer problems.

@JohnnyRow - you could be right - but I've seen many bad reviews. But thanks for your insight - you could be right.
