Please note Fitbit Luxe among other Fitbit devices don't have the capability to store or play music. Thanks for your suggestion, though. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. is it possible  for there to be an update in the near future to make Spotify compatible with my Fitbit luxe?

@Nayo_musubi unlikely, considering that lack of Spotify is one of downgrades for recent Sense 2 and Versa 4 (previous models supported Spotify app). There is no reason why Fitbit would add Spotify app for Luxe while stripped of it newest models.

Hello @Nayo_musubi and welcome to the Community.  I looked at your public profile and see that you are a new Fitbit user.  I want to clarify one thing about Spotify and Fitbit.  The full name of the app is Spotify - Connect & Control.  It lets you control Spotify on another device.  It never let users put Spotify playlists on devices that could store music.  The only tracker that supports Spotify - Connect & Control is the Charge 4.  Fitbit didn't include it on the Charge 5, a surprise to many users.  Like @t.parker wrote, Fitbit also omitted it on the Sense 2/Versa 4.  It's unlikely that Fitbit will add it to the Luxe.
