Stainless Steel Band falls off

My Luxe Stainless Steel Mesh band for my Luxe Fitbit kept falling off, especially when coming in contact with anything magnetic. I lost my Fitbit for a week and someone posted that they had found it and I got back. It continued to fall off and it is lost again, and I don't think I am going to get back this time.

The mesh bands and Gorjana bands do not function and do not stay on. You are one of thousands losing their Fitbits. Fitbit knows this and doesnt care. They continue to sell these products and accept money for them, knowing they are faulty. Replacing wont help and they do not appear to be fixable. Sorry to be the barer of bad news.

Hello,

I contacted Fitbit about this problem over a year ago. They don't care.  I believe they may have offered some "apology" to me along the lines of a $10 off coupon for my next Luxe accessory. As if.

My experience with Fitbit is that any problem you have after purchase is your problem. I pointed out the stupidity of this needless design re-thinking. The ordinary clasp used for mesh bands industry-wide works just fine; changing its to a magnet merely means that the person wearing it has to beware of anything metal. So...if you drive in or ride a car or a bus or a truck;  if you work in a kitchen, make your own meals in a kitchen, walk into a kitchen; or if you are around metal objects like a washer and dryer, then you stand to lose your Fitbit. It is the stupidest and most needless design change in the history of idiot designers.
