Luxe won't track my steps accurately while walking with a crutch

I had knee surgery a month ago and have noticed that my Luxe is not accurately recording my steps now that I am walking with a crutch … any thoughts on this? I would like to be able to compare my steps progress from one day to the next.

Hi there, @KathyKKK. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is not tracking your steps accurately. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that your Fitbit device may not detect the number of steps if your arm is not moving. If you walk with a normal arm swing while using a crutch, it should count the proper number of steps and calories. When walking, every arm swing corresponds to a step. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
