Suddenly only basic sleep info

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Luxe suddenly quit giving me a sleep score and related info. I thought it was a fluke, but it has been 5 days straight. I've changed my sleep monitor to sensitive and even that didn't help. I just did a restart this morning but I'm really disappointed that the lifespan of these devices are so limited. I've used the One, Alta, and now Luxe. My husband had the Charge 4 but the face of it cracked and it quit working effectively after that.

I’m having the same issue, suddenly not getting any sleep score/logging sleep at all. It can’t be because my premium is up ( it’s only been 4 months since I bought it ) layout has changed in app too. I honestly don’t know what’s happening. I’ve synced a thousand times, restarted watch, logged out and in again, turned Bluetooth on and off. I’m getting sick of doing all these step’s every time something goes wrong. This is the worst purchase I’ve made last year. So many people reporting issues constantly.. never to be rectified. I will never fall for Fitbit again I’ve learnt my lesson lol

I'm on my 3rd Fitbit. I started with the One, but it only came with a clip
and after years of using it, I believe Fitbit quit supporting it. I
switched to the Alta, but it has a very high profile and I was always
banging it on things, so switched to the Luxe because it had a much lower
profile and looked more like a watch. I've had it for over a year. I've
occasionally had a night where it didn't record my sleep well but never for
a week straight. I've adjusted my band tighter, restarted it, wiped the
back clean, set my sleep monitor from Normal to Sensitive and back to
normal all without resolution. I chatted with Fitbit yesterday and they had
me do a factory reset and re-setup and pair my phone but that didn't work
either. Since sleep tracking is one of the primary reasons I have a
tracker, I'm considering another brand to replace my Luxe. It is so
frustrating as I've been a loyal Fitbit user for almost 10 years. I even
had purchased one for my husband a few years back, but it just quit
holding any kind of charge after less than a year of wear. I know this
doesn't help resolve your issue, but you might contact them and ask for a
refund direct from Fitbit since you haven't had it six months. Good luck.
It seems like it isn't just us that are having problems. I think they might
have screwed things up with the last firmware update, but who really knows
for sure.

I think what’s confused me the most is I suddenly just started getting only the basic sleep info too. Nothing I have done to change that. I just woke up and it had all changed. No advanced sleep analytics and now not logging sleep.

we can’t keep switching things on and off/uninstalling and reinstalling etc every time we run into an issue.. it’s beyond infuriating and just downright stupid for Fitbit to request this of their users. Constantly jumping through their hoops to no avail. I just feel like an idiot for buying it now when I should have just believed all the reviews I read.
my partner and I went halves on this luxe so I can’t contact Fitbit for a refund as was on his Amazon account. Back in the box it goes lol waste of £100  I agree they’ve messed up on the update.. but of course they’ll never admit that and somehow will still have customers

I am also having that issue just recently.  Makes me wonder if something changed on their end.  Their answer to your question didn't take into account what you had told them you'd done already.  I've only had this a little over a month and like you I am very interested in the sleep score.  No sleep score provided on the watch anymore but when I went to my account, there was some info there, but no REM, light or deep sleep info.  I hope it can be fixed on their end.

Everything else on mine appears to be working fine so I will keep it and
use it until it completely dies. At that time I'll consider other brands.

No response from Fitbit.

Same- guess it requires more “votes” to escalate it high enough so that Fitbit finally responds.

I'll give it a full week, post factory reset, to see if it starts tracking
sleep again. If not, I'm switching to a Garmin. Today, for the first time
ever, mine reported I did an elliptical workout that I didn't do. I did
however crochet. It seems to have a mind of its own.

Mine tracked my sleep last night, Mondays is completely missing though. The layout of my app had changed ( not my doing ) and now is back to normal. I was mainly having issues with syncing all last week then that sorted itself out just for something else to go wrong ( the sleep tracker and app )

I also feel it has a mind of its own.. I get told I’m in cardio/exercise when I’m just standing in my kitchen making a cup of tea! Are we hot drink and crochet athletes! 😂 On top of that the heart tracker is always between 20 to 30 beats out as soon as my heart is elevated. That was the main reason it went back in its box because it’s just lies and it’s infuriating. Now all i experience is constant issues, If it’s not one thing it’s another. I guess I’m just glad It only cost £100 as some people have invested a lot of money in their Fitbit only to be made to feel a fool. I just don’t understand how companies get away with these things.. apple is just as bad, like I said in previous post, I’ve learnt my lesson.. never again.

I got a generic reply from a Fitbit admin on another post of mine, telling me I may not have been wearing it correctly ( it tracked my heart all night but not sleep ) or battery was critically low ( was on 71% ) and so on. It’s always something we’ve done wrong/incorrectly.. never Fitbit🤯  not long till they say “ you said something mean about your Fitbit and it heard you.. now it’s feelings are hurt and you must apologise to it and give it an offering “    I would NOT be surprised 😂

WOW!  This has been bugging me for 5 days.  I switched to sensitive and today the server was down and after it came back,

I got the basic sleep log again..

I decided I no longer need the frustration, so since the server was down
and I couldn't get any information to sync with my app, I removed the app
from my phone, took off my Luxe and tossed it in a drawer. I'm done. Once
the app updated on January 18, 2023 mine hasn't worked properly since.

My Luxe didn’t give me a sleep score last night (Feb 5/6th). I have had so much disappointment with the lack of support from FitBit.  There are many users who have had their step streak re-set and no energy from the company to fix the issue.  Now this. I did find the sleep score interesting but like many, many, many others am now planning to buy a different device. One that will work and one that will get support.
