Recently I have been experiencing the above issue. It is really frustrating. I am actually thinking of switching to an Apple watch. I have going through all the setting - notification checks. I have done the hold done three times with a second in between each. Last night I uninstall the luxe and re-install it - but nothing so far. I am tired now

It might help to know what happens when you try to access settings on Luxe.
Anyway, try swiping down from clock face to access Quick Settings.
Look for DND Mode.
Tap it to toggle it on or off.

That’s just it @JohnnyRow it is not allowing me to swipe down at all. That’s me attempting to do so - but it isn’t cycling through. I cannot get to settings at all

Restart without using screen face; then might be able to swipe.

Thanks @JohnnyRow tried the restarting by disconnecting from the charging cable, twice - but I am still unable to swipe
