I'm in. I'm not much of a sweets person anyway. Now roasted pumpkin seeds from gutting those big orange things are another story!

Too easy.
I will eat NO candy on Halloween, or before Halloween.
After Halloween, I may have a weak moment and confiscate some Reese cups from random children, purely for their own protection.

I don't hand out candy so I won't buy any, therefore it won't be in my house or within reach. Eating candy would fit in my daily budget of calories, but I choose not to eat it because once you start....
I used to buy a bag or two or three of things just because they were on sale at the store, and then consume a BUNCH. No no no. I know myself too well to get suckered into that again.

I bought two boxes of stuff at Costco a couple of weeks ago, and they're in my front hall closet. I haven't touched them - I usually have some kind of sweet at night, especially when I have a lot of calories left. I'm trying harder to actually eat more during the day so I don't eat too much junk at night. Except for a few nights where I've made a decision specifically to take a break I can hit the 3500+ calories burned each day at the moment. With 2500 calories to eat I can have some halloween candy if I want. I will likely choose to eat some candy that night, although the rest will go to the office the next day. Oddly enough if I put it on the bookcase in my office it's more likely I'll take one or two then. Depending how much I have left I'll either leave it at the payroll/hr clerk's desk, since lots of people come to see her things go quickly.
I should also admit that I have a container of candy on my desk. It's a big plastic box of Warheads Extreme Sour Candies. Four of them are 50 calories, so I just log them that way each day, although most days I only take 1 or 2.

This is tough for me but I'm in! Candy and cakes, etc. are a huge weekness for me! I almost didn't buy any but I'm trying to work on my self control. The reality is that I'll be around it at some point so it's not enough to avoid it. I also want to be able to resist it!
We bought two bags and haven't opened them yet. That's good. I am concerned with what is going to happen tonight when I open the bag and that sweet, happy sugar smell comes out.
I'll let you all know tomorrow.....

We had 95 kids to the door tonight. I've had some candy (never said I wasn't going to, just that it would be within my calories). I'm actually still very low for the day so probably I'll have a bit more, but balance it out with a protein shake and/or some nuts. The rest will go to the office tomorrow.

I failed big time. Went into a skid the previous weekend which carried over to halloween day. Oh well, live an learn. Whoever invented the fun size candy was a cruel cruel person 🙂
