Well here we are 2018 - sounds weird! 2018 the year I finally get my weight under control once & for all. I'm tiered of having to constantly yoyo up & down. I had Greaves Disease in my 30's and had most of my thyroid removed, and have taken Thyroxine ever since. I think I tend to use this as a bit of an excuse, not that I'm being hard on myself. I have lost weight in the recent past but it comes back the minute I take my focus off it.
Im finding my Fitfit Charge 2 does much more than I had realised! I just love my fitbit.
2018 resolution to lose 15 kilos & keep it there.
I am a volunteer with the Dept. of Health & have become aware of the huge problems excess weight can cause especially as we age. I am determined to lose the weight, get fitter, and live to a ripe old age having loads of fun!

Welcome to the forums. I think as many you have found the real struggle is not so much losing weight, as it is keeping it off. Maintaining weight takes as much focus as losing weight! I am wishing you all the best of luck with reaching those goals.

When we maintain our weight loss, we need to use the same level of passion and intensity we used to lose the weight in the first place.Losing weight and becoming healthy is a lifetime commitment. Well said @Esya
