6 weeks countdown too honeymoon help

hi

i need to loose atleast a stone in 6 weeks maybe more if possible

Just got my fitbit flex

i am doing my fitness pal.. anyone wana join or help motivate me and i will do same?? any tips welcome xxx thanks Gemma

14 lbs in 6 weeks. Over 2 lbs weekly, when this close to healthy weight already?

 

Biggest tip would have been to start 14 weeks prior to wedding. You'll now likely cause enough stress from diet and exercise and life, that you won't like the fight and lack of results you'll get.

 

Just being honest.

 

First - will you be wearing the scale on your back for all to see?

 

or will they see you?

 

If you forget the 1 stone goal, and go 1 lb weekly loss goal, and do a lot of resistance training, stength training - you can transform your body more than less weight by itself would make you look.

You'll look like you lost more. And only you have to tell people the true weight - or not.

 

Because attempting that rate of weight loss will include about 20% muscle mass - so you'll just end up a smaller version of what you got now. If you got fat where you don't like it, you still will, just less of it.

 

But if you strength train, and only lose 1 lb weight weekly, you'll be making muscle stronger while losing fat.

And full body, heavy for your lifting, no pink dumbbells wasting time on curls.

It makes feel better to not share true weight since weight include everything (body fat, lean mass (muscles), organs, blood/water, bones,..), food remnants still inside the tummy (quickly can add up to a few pounds). To not think about constantly makes ourself happier as well and less stress for the body.

I always observed that in the gym in the free weights section.

 

Someone, usually a lady, would get off a elliptical and come over to the dumbbells, and while no pink ones, they would use the 2.5 lb ones, and proceed to do about 20-25 curls, and then incorrect tricep kickbacks, then look around, and leave.

 

I know they probably felt uncomfortable with what to do next. But good grief, there's this great resource they were using while doing the elliptical slowly called the internet, they have likely used it for much less important things.
