Hello,
I was wondering whether people are using any mobile apps other than My Fitness Pal in conjunction with Fitbit? I am using MFP but am finding it lacking in someway. I am keen to restart my weight loss and wondered if I could just perservere with MFP.

If your picture is really your picture, then (from the male perspective) many like you is a bonus
Many say that MFP is one of the best, so - if that's what you accomplished - stay with it.

Alas no. It is merely a goal. But here's hoping.

What are you looking for in terms of a mobile app, kwirky?

I use the Lose It! app. It's free, syncs with Fitbit and I love it.

I'm curious, why would you want to use Lose It or MFP? I was on MFP a while ago and was very dissatified with the mobile app, and their lack of security (website was not over SSL {encrypted}...only the login).
Recently, I just dove into the latest FB app for Android. I must say, they have made some serious improvements. I'm not seeing any need for MFP anymore. Granted, the bar code scanner database needs expanding, but I think that will happen in time. Other than that, I can sync, track, enter foods, etc. MFP never again for me. (As for Lose It...I couldn't stand the lack of flexibility when entering foods. I'm very precise and even a bit **ahem** when it comes to the numbers.)
{Disclaimer: I'm not very social, so that aspect of MFP is not missed in the FB app.}

Hello there. We have created an app called Dutrition (dutrition.com). It's a more flexible diet planner where it lets you plan out your diet, buy your groceries and reach your goals. It's easier and faster than MFP and I thought you would like it. Plus you can share any diet with your friends.
Let me know if you fancy it 😉
