Always under?

On my dash board where it says calories in vs calories out, mine always says ''under''. Fo example, today I ate 1,035 calories and burned close to 3,000 calories. So my question is, is being under bad?

Not necessarily bad in and of itself.  However, I would caution with having too large of deficits all the time.  A lot of dieticians and nutrionists will tell you the key to permanent weight loss is a slow gradual loss.  In your example you are at a -2,000 deficit/day, if you did that for a week you would have a 14,000 calorie deficit which would translate into a 4lb weight loss (14,000/3,500).  While this may be okay to start with I would personally rather focus on living a better lifestyle (i.e. eating better foods and exercising) versus just dropping the weight tomorrow.
