Bakery Scene

Need Motivation!


I work at 5am, 5 days a week at a bakery and get off at 2:30pm. Its so hard to wake up so early to workout and yet when I get home around 3pm I don't want to work out because I am to exhausted! How do I get motivated and stay motivated? I need to lose around 40 pounds!

I know the feeling. I cannot do morning workouts because I have younger kids that I have to get off to school.

 

I find that if I pack a gym bag before work and take it with me, I am more likely to make it to the gym. Once I am home, all bets are off. I am not leaving the house again. With the prepacked bag, I have no excuse not to go.

It sounds like you don't get enough sleep. Forcing yourself to wrokout when you're exhausted is not good for your body. Track yoursleep and try to go to bed early. Also try the 7 minute workout. (If you haven't heard of it, google). It's very short, it's easy even if you're a beginner and it's energising and effective. After a while you will feel the need and more importantly have the energy to make more changes in your life. Go with babysteps. Don't rush and don't get discouraged. It's a long way with its ups and downs but little by little you'll achieve your goal.
