Calorie Deficit

Ive recently started my weight loss journey and have been consuming less than 1000 calories for the past 4 weeks, thinking that being under my budget was a good thing. Ive done some research and turns out that isnt the case and can do damage. Ive started adding in extra calories during the day to try and get up to budget but i cant seem to eat more than 1400 calories in a day anymore. Can anyone give me advice on how to add calories into my budget so i dont do damage to my body?

Hi @Bdante97

Sometimes adding calorie dense foods can help if you are trying to increase total calorie intake.  Adding healthy fats seem to be the easiest way for me to increase total calorie intake.  Some examples are: nuts, nut butters, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado/guacamole.  However, make sure your base diet is providing you with adequate nutrients.
