Do you mean this one? It’s not exactly "for the rest of your life", since the equation it uses (Mifflin St Jeor) relies on age as one of the factors affecting BMR and TDEE: as you get older, you expend less energy (all things being equal), so you will need to eat less in order to maintain the same weight.
There’s another equation – Katch McArdle – that doesn’t involve age, nor gender: it’s based on body fat and weight. It’s less commonly used, though.
