Calories adjustment

Hi there!

I have noticed today that my calories on my fitbit seem to adjust every day. I have it set to Kinda Hard and that originally gave me a 750 cal deficit. So Monday I had 1487, Tuesday dropped to 1487 (I know... big change! lol), Wednesday was up to 1634 and today down to 1098. There's nooooo way I will be eating over 1200, anyway. But what's the "science" behind that oscillation?

Thank you in advance

Hi @Livyuk83 Welcome to the forum. I hope you find tips, inspiration and new friends here.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking why your target number of calories you can eat each day changes? If yes, that will chance depending on calories out. For example, if you normally walk 3 miles a day, your calorie target could be 1500 (I'm just making up numbers for the example), but on a day that you walked 6 miles, your calorie target could be much hirer because you have burned more calories. I hope that helps.
