Hi there, my versa fit-bit tells me that I am burning around 3000 calories per day but I do not think that is right. It tells me that I can eat around 2500 calories if I wanna lose weight but compering to my Samsung watch it tells me something different. I know I cannot eat more that 1500 calories per day because I will gain weight fast. Should I trust my fit-bit? how accurate it it? also, It is already set up with my weight and height. I just got my fit-bit a week ago but the purpose of getting it is for weight loss and if it doesn't help I may return it. 😞

You probably have a setting in your preferences that confuses things. On the average, how many calories did you actually burn the past few days?

the fit bit says that burned around 3200 with my workouts

Thank you very much! but, It is all good, my weight, height and everything. So, does it mean that my calories burned are right? I am just comparing to my Samsung watch and there is big difference between the fitbit and the Samsung one.

Most likely they are both wrong, but in different ways. Another estimate of calorie burn would be to put your information into a TDEE calculator and between the three use the middle one as a starting point as your calorie burn estimate. Regardless of the numbers, however, remember they are all just estimates. You will have to make adjustments in order to get your body into a caloric deficit that results in fat loss.
Personally, I think fitbit overestimated my calorie burn about about 20% when my BMI was in the 28-29 range, and by about 10% now that my BMI is around 24. The overestimate was consistent day to day, however, and had no effect on my ability to lose 40 lbs in 2017. I just logged my calories, strove for similar calorie burns from day today, and monitored my weight daily. I compared my weekly weight average to determine progress and adjusted (mostly) how much I ate in order to hit around a 1-1.5 lbs weekly loss.
Side note: In weight loss, what and how much you eat has more of an effect than exercise (though you need to do both!). When cutting calories to lose weight, try to add lots of veggies to help you feel less hungry (and less likely to snack) from meal to meal. Veggies add bulk without a lot of calories, thereby filling you up. And watch the liquid calories (soda, juices, alcohol). They add a lot of calories and don't to curb hunger.
