I'm sorry, like soy milk I just can't get past the taste of coconut water. I do drink Mama Chia. Chia seeds are supposed to be beneficial plus they quell hunger a bit.

@diamondles I have drank Vita Coco - usually I leave it for after a particularly long or strenuous workout. I have found they are great at rehydrating you with the natural electrolytes and added potassium.  Recently I've gone to Coco Hydro (powder form you add to water yourself) and usually will have 24 ounces of water blended with it after my 10K+ runs.

I like cucumber water, which apparently has a few good benefits.

Hey there @diamondles ! Welcome to the forums Cat Happy

Coconut water has tons of benefits! Here are some of them:

  • It is packed with electrolytes, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium; just like any sports drink, but in their natural form.
  • It has a richer flavor that will make you feel fuller and suppress any cravings.
  • It's also great to drink after a night out, to help rehydrate the body.
  • It has a high concentration in fiber, so it will help on your digestion.

Now I want some! Perfect for summer Smiley Wink

@diamondles  I'm not much of a fan of the tase of coconut water, however the benefits of it are fantastic. SO, I use about 3/4 cup of coconut water in my smoothie each morning.

I've tried it, but it is too sweet for my tastes. It is supposed to have electrolytes to help replace the ones you sweat out during exercise, but I'd rather just drink plain water and eat something salty.
