I have been on my journey for approx 9 weeks now. I have not weighed myself since mid May as there wasn't much movement and it was disheartening. I'm doing strength training 5 times a week and a bit of running for some cardio. I can see that my body shape has changed and my clothes fit better. I'm aiming for slower, long-term changes rather than a quick fix. I have had a few cheat weekends when we have had visitors and the focus has been on wine, yummy food and socialising. I just wondered if these changes in my measurements show I'm on the right track or whether I need to go more intense - would rather not as I'm trying to ensure I have balance and my mental well being doesn't suffer.
Upper Thigh 5/13 63 cm today 59.5cm
Waist 5/13 95cm today 91cm (had been measuring waist and thigh wrong so hence not same dates as hips)
Hips 4/28 101cm today 93cm

Brilliant!
Slow and steady wins the race.
I don't know much about taking body measurements, but I do know that my making slow, sustainable changes I've cost myself a small fortune in new clothes!
It sounds to me like you're doing great. Keep it going! Well done!

Sounds to me you found something that works for you. We cannot judge if you are losing fast enough. I think it is most important you are losing weight if you are overweight, no matter what speed at. Slow and steady is totally ok. I do think those changes in measurements are very impressive.

Congratulations! Slow and steady always good! As long as you are happy with your progress and feel the changes, it's good!. Keep doing what works for you.
Good Luck!
