Conversion from pounds to stone out on app

Wonder if anyone can explain.  I am using the fitbit scales along with my tracker.  Just weighed myself there at 177.8lbs on the scales.  If you google that the conversion is 12.7 stone.  Yet when I look at the conversion on the app,, its logged as 12.10 stone.  Out by 3lbs,,, not a major difference but still quite a bit out.

Can anyone explain why?  Or should I just go off google 😆,, as we know its never wrong lol.

that is so odd. you would think it would be consistent since you know, its math. Maybe reach out to customer support to see if you can get an official answer.

@stevotrueblue   This apparently funny math comes from the fact that there are 14 lbs in a stone, not 10.  The straight math is correct that it’s 12.7 stone.  Is your app actually saying 12 stone 10 pounds?

If you put your Fitbit on your ankle when you ride your spin bike, then you just don’t get it.
