December 2016 Step Goal Challenge

ANSWERED

-This challenge doesn't have anything to do with USW, CW, GW, UGW, or PW.

-Instead, the goal is reach the most amount of daily step goals during the month of December-2016.  Challenge yourself to hit 31 out of 31 days. Increasing the # of daily checkins increases the chances of achieving 31/31 days. If you discover this mid month, no problem just post away.

Posting format:

1) List your daily step goal.

2)  List the # of daily step goals achieved during December-2016

I was having connection issues last night, but I rebooted the modem and decided that I'd post now.

I'm going to be over 21K today as I'm still going back to the plant just after 11pm.

Not sure why I didn't post last night...

Thought today might be tough (was going to go for a 3 hour drive after getting out of work just after noon) so I did some steps this morning and did a couple of tasks on the floor when I got in at 7.  So I'm up to 6616 and it's just coming up on 9am.  I may decide to not hit the 20K a couple of days before the end of the year.  I figure 90% compliance is good.  I need to do some chores around the house that may rack up steps (or not) and I've committed to one day here at work next week and probably one day at home during the break.  Basically I need to get the chores done and want to take some me time as well.   Woman Happy

No worries if you don't post every day.

But like you, I'm worried because my boyfriend and I will be driving much of Saturday (I will HAVE to do my walking videos before we go) and staying at his mom's home, where it will be very cold. Hopefully I can get steps in walking up and down the hall. But I probably will look crazy. Then we'll be driving much of Tuesday.

I definitely won't hit my 250-steps an hour goal, but if I can get to 10K a day, I'll be happy.

Anyway: 10,000 goal and 21/31.

I keep saying I'm going to slack off, but at some point during the day I start making up the steps.  I've reset my fitbit daily goal to 15,000 (from the standard 10,000) and tomorrow I need to start working on moving stuff around the basement.  So tomorrow I'll be happy if I get the 15,000 I think.

Today I still need to do 6,000 to hit my 20K goal and I'll probably still aim for it.

I took a break yesterday on Christmas so didn't hit the 10k mark (which I am fine with) but will do everything in my power to reach 30/31 days this month.  Keep up the good work everyone and lets finish 2016 off strong.
