Yes I enter all my food into my food tracker, or food log. I do ok, I don't cheat. I make up lies when asked to go out to eat, because I don't cheat. I'm just so anxious to lose more weight. I have been lifting heavy weights since Feb 7th. My inches are decreasing also, it would just be nice to hit my goal weight. Just wondering if it will happen or will I remain smaller and heavier.

I never did Nutrisystems, because I don't like people forcing me to eat their super expensive sodium laden food.

I did do Weight Watchers, 3 different times (2 were w/meetings and 1 online) and the 2 times I actually went to meetings and followed the program it worked well.  The first time I was 240 and got down to 186 in 13 weeks.  I stopped going for years and the weight was right back on, I went back about 3 years ago and dropped again from 222 to 194 in about 13 weeks and I stopped going again.  I am at 227.6 again.

WW's helps me because I am super competitive and the meetings help me have a weekly goal to try and lose the most weight in the meeting.  They do offer a program where you buy their food, but they also offer one that is basically calorie based counting and making you really focus in on not only what you are eating, but how much of it.  Many people don't really know what a portion/serving of something is.

So here is a round of the three bigger systems from last year http://finance.yahoo.com/news/weight-watchers-vs--nutrisystem-vs--jenny-craig-193042432.html

I thought Nutrisystem might be a good way to lose some lbs without having to think too much. But decided against it once I looked at the food. Mostly its just smallish portions of highly processed ready meals.  For example the breakfasts for men....

http://www.nutrisystem.com/jsps_hmr/catalog/menu/food.jsp?meal=breakfast&plan=basic

chocolate donut.....chocolate muffin.....cinnamon roll.....cinnamon bun....strudel....

Its mostly highly processed, high-salt content food I'd not want to eat.

I did it for a number of months, and it did help me drop about 10 pounds! After that, I stopped dropping weight even though I was sticking to the plan about 90 percent of the time (same as I was when I dropped those initial 10, by the way). Folks are right, the food is processed, but I was willing to do it for the convenience and the ease to the extent it helped me drop weight. One thing to watch: The calories can skirt too low for minimally sufficient nutrition, in my view. If you decide to try it, just make sure you're taking in enough nutrients.

Seems like if I eat that food I stop when it's gone. But when I try to eat healthy , which I do enjoy eating healthy I think it's my portions. I don't know why it's sooo hard for me to lose weight. I've lost 69 pounds but March 7th will be a year of trying. I think I should have done better. I was a 18 jeans and just last weekend I bought a size 6. My goal is 150 does anyone out there think this is possible? I'm a size 6, I weigh 183 now. Started at 253, hope that's 69 pounds don't want to be a liar, lol. I excersize better than I do math.

My husband and I both used it off and on for the past 8 years.  It is expensive but it worked when we stayed with it. The food got better over the years and we had our favorites so we could just  pick out what we wanted for each meal and prep time was minimal.  You do have to add yoiur own vegetables and fruits which adds even more cost to the meals.

We lost weight, then would go on vacation, and go back to our huge fatty, sugary meals.  It is like with any diet, you have to learn control when you are not eating the food.

We decided to finish off the box that we still have left and go to MFP instead of putting out so much money for someone else to prep our meals.  There are someone meals that I really miss though.

Bottom line is: it works, it's easy, it's expensive, food is good, and it is worth a try.

It is really nice for those who are constantly on the go. You do have to add different foods with it, like veggies, carbs and protein snacks. I like it since I don't have a lot of time on my hands, as I work 40+ hrs/week as a nurse. I rarely have time to take a lunch. I just grab a bar or heat up a meal and eat as I chart. I am also doing 16 credit hours of school. So the program is nice as I don't have to do alot of extra work counting calories cooking and dishes afterwards 🙂 Anyway if interested I can email you a coupon called buddy bucks for 30 off your first month. if you have health insurance you may get a further discount when u call nutrisystem. I get 28 days of food for about $187, that is 3 meals and a snack.
