Fitbit calorie allowance

Hi I am a member of nutracheck and they gave me an allowance of 1414 calories plus an extra 200 calories that I’m supposed to burn off with exercise. My question is why has Fitbit given me a much higher calorie goal? Both accounts are linked. Thanks

The calorie goal assigned to you by Fitbit is arbitrary, like the 10k default goal for steps. If you don’t like that goal (for instance, because it’s unrealistic/unattainable at this point), you can lower it (just like you can change the default step goal). The goal is just that, a goal. And it is also important to remember the actual number of calories reportedly burned during the day (as well as during an activity) is an estimate.
