Has anyone else noticed that if you track the same food by cup vs grams you get different calorie info. One must be inaccurate.
My example is some greek yogurt I eat. I scanned the bar code to load the product nutrition info. On the package it says one serving is ¾ cup or 170g and 100 calories etc.
If I load ¾ cup it tracks the exact calories from the package. If I load 170g it says its around 78 calories.
Anyone have any idea why this is?

I have seen this also - It could be from the database but my guess is that the conversion to metric causes the error. It is real obvious in ounces to grams - they tend to round an ounce down to 28 grams and not use the more accurate value of 28.35 grams, so after a few ounces it can be off by a bit. in the states, the food labels can be off by +/- 20 percent I believe, so most of the companies round the calorie counts down..... I tend to go with the label value and adjust the amount to match the calories as I have not been too concerned about the macro counts.
