A friend heard about it and thought I might be interested. It uses FitBit (any of the trackers and the Aria scale!).
I think it looks like a cool concept, especially their "No Fail Promise." I love the idea of having professionals I can talk to about my weight loss. That said, it is not cheap!!

I'm curious, why not save your money, wear your fitbit, log the calories you eat here, let the website tell you how many calories you can eat in a day? Easy-peasy?

**ahem** that is expensive, $150 a month for the cheap plan? Nah, I'll just keep at it myself. I would like some professional advice, but not at that cost.

So I'm doing my google due dillegence on retrofitme and I also am shocked about the cost! I didnt expect an online weight loss coach would be that expect! Sure there is an app to "track my goal" but i prefer to use other weight loss apps that are pretty much free!
I have narrowed my search to another weight loss program that offers online coaching ( http://www.diamondbodyimage.com/weight-loss-coach/ ) and its a husband and wife duo - so I'll talk more to them and see how their service compares with the other guys.

I've been with the plan, or versions of it, for several years and have found it to be extremely informative and beneficial. It isn't just about losing weight, it is about changing behaviors that many of us have built incorrectly over a lifetime. Fitbit has great technology and some nice data. It doesn't give those that need it all the tools, expertise, advice, encouragement that we need. As a heart patient and also with a reconstructed knee it isn't 'easy peasy' as some would have you believe.
Oh, and I have come down about 40lbs to 175, with a significant improvement in bodyfat. That is worth paying for.
