Health vs. calories

With the food log i have set the weight loss program to medium. I dont need to lose weight but i need a plan to stick to for getting in shape for sports. I eat only healthy foods ( fruits veggies). I am a vegitarian and i have always gotten enough nurients and thing. I dont understand why the plan says i should limit my calories with veggies and how all these things bring my calorie count up so much. These things are healthy! any advice?

Are you equating "healthy" with something you can eat in unlimited quantities?  The calories in carrots count as much as the calories in candy.  Even though the carrots are much, much better for you.  Because I'm trying to keep my weight under control, I make sure to allocate the calories I'm allowed to the things that give me the most nutrients, so all calories are not equal, but calories are calories.

If you don't need to lose weight, then why in the world are you taking a deficit to do so?

And that's why you notice the calories so bad, so have to eat less than you burn.

Put your goal to maintain, keep exercising, you'll lose fat just eating the correct amount while doing so.

And enjoy the sugars in those vegetables and fruit.

Why are you set to lose weight? That makes no sense if you don't need to. You set your plan according to your goals, then fitbit complies. Set your plan to maintain, and follow your fitness and healthy eating program (making sure you get enough protein since you need it for muscle repair). For fat loss, as mentioned you would need to eat fewer calories than you burn. Eating too much of anything--even healthy foods is counter-productive. I do think it is especially important to choose healthy foods when dieting at a deficit--because every calorie taken in should to count towards meeting one's needs for: vitamins, minerals, protein, essential fats, fiber, etc. (At least if long term health is the goal). But if you don't need to put yourself through this--why do it? Undereating (that is what dieting is) will usually decrease your performance in your workouts too. If you are in the upper end of your healthy range and feel you should lose a little fat--try the smaller 1/2 pound a week deficit if you must. Sometimes people lose a little fat set to maintain when starting or intensifying their workout plan.
