Healthy Weight

Im turning 25 this week and just got my new fit bit! I am trying to figure out what a healthy weight would be for me.

Some facts:

1. I used to weigh 135lbs about two years ago. Back then I never watched what I ate or worked out.

2. In about a years time I gained 15lbs. Probably due to a combination of medication changes and unhealthy lifestyle.

3. I have been active in the gym for about a year now, doing some intense weight lifting with cardio for warm ups.  I have not lost any weight in that time.

4. So I am now adding diet changes into the picture. While I don't think I am overweight, I dont know what someone my age should weigh, especially considering the amount of muscle I've packed on.

I don't think it depends so much on your age as it does your height and gender. You need to find out your BMI. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/

"Weight" is a really bad indicator

Theres always BMI for a very rough guide, but its only really applicable for a population rather than an individual.

Depending on height and fitness, 150lbs could be just right, near starvation or critically over weight.
