Hello - It’s Been a While!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here at these boards, and I know that a lot of the “regulars” that were here during my time are probably gone. I carried a Fitbit Charge HR beginning in late March 2016, then switched to a Blaze a couple of months later. During the rest of 2016, using Fitbit lost me a little over 50 pounds.

I’m happy to say that the weight is still off. In March 2019, I bought an Apple Watch 5. The weight control features on an Apple Watch are not as well developed as a Fitbit, nevertheless I was able to keep the weight off. A year ago (Sept. 2022) I decided to go back to Fitbit because it is a much stronger tracker than Apple Watch, and bought a new Charge 5. Additionally, I pulled my old Blaze out of a drawer at the same time - and it still works!

So I’ve happily used my Blaze and Charge 5 for a little over a year now (and am very happy with both. The Charge 5 is my “dress” Fitbit, and I use the Blaze for exercising because of its larger screen and font size.

After 13 months with these devices, I thought I’d poke my head into the ol’ Forums and see what’s up. Anyway, if any of my older acquaintances form the boards are around, howdy!

Looks like no one likes the 4.0 upgrade to the app - lol. I think it’s fine.

Hey @tractorlegs -- nice to see you around. Looks like you found your new normal in 2016. Keeping it off is a much bigger deal than getting it off.
