Hi everyone! 😊
Hope you're doing great!
I wonder how many pounds did you lose last week? 😎
If you've ever watched a weight-loss commercial, you have been told over and over how easy it is to lose weight: just take this pill, follow that diet, or buy this piece of equipment, and everything will melt away like magic. Literally billions of dollars are spent each year on weight-loss products and services, and yet millions remain overweight.
If you struggle with weight loss, you know that there are no shortcuts. One key strategy to losing weight is to burn more calories than you eat. Is it true? As easy as that sounds, it usually isn't. It's not just about finding time to exercise or choosing the salad over the burger; it's about making a genuine commitment to your health every day regardless of the ups and downs.
Is there any chance you can give and share some tips about how you've been achieving your weight-loss goal?
Hope to see you around!

I lost another pound. That's a pound a week for four weeks. Man it goes off slowly. I've been eating between 1500 and 1700 calories per day. I get grumpy if I eat less than that. I appear to burn between 2,100 and 2,400 calories per day depending on my activity. I have a long way to go as I need to lose at least 30 more pounds. My goal is to avoid knee replacement surgery. I'm 63 years old. I didn't wear my Fitbit for a long time. When I wear it I'm definitely more motivated to be active and to log my food intake which makes me mindful of my calorie intake. Fish, apples, and under 100 calorie popsicles are probably my saviors.

@Ginnp Good job !! Losing a pound a week is excellent. That would be 52 pounds in a year! Any loss is better than stuck at the same weight or gaining. And maybe you are learning some useful strategies that will be helpful going forward. Personally I fell off the wagon Friday and gained. I went crazy or something and ate CANDY. So not helpful for me. It definitely wasn't worth it. I regret doing that. Yesterday I only had a protein drink and a cup of Navy beans I cooked for 2 hours just to taste.

I'd have been exceedingly difficult to be around if I'd only eaten navy beans and a protein drink.
