I work at an office and I work out every day but I need to burn extra calories during the day - I try to walk around the floor every little while but I want to know what you guys do?

I have one of those humongous rubber bands for resistance exercise - I use it to "stretch" every hour or so, and when the office is clear and I feel like it, I'll knock out some push-ups.

Can you add flights of stairs to your walks around the floor? That's what I do some days to get a little extra in.

I'm gonna see if there are stairs - the building is super big so I've never seen a staircase! It's so annoying! Thanks!

I work in an office attached to a plant, but some days I have so much to do at my desk I have to force myself to get up and walk around. Other days it isn't an issue. I pick the longest path when possible. I rarely call someone for something, I get up and walk their direction. This is easier for some jobs than others. If you can't work in more steps during the hours you need to be at your desk consider walking at lunch.

I work in an office too, and use my lunch break to do a 3 mile power walk and burn between four and five hundred calories. I walk fast enough to keep my heart rate in the cardio zone the whole time, so i get a good cardio at the same time.
